Most visitors first arrive on Vancouver Island by ferry. It’s fun to take an exciting ‘ocean trip’ on the world’s largest ferry fleet, with frequent departures, scenic routes, and food services on board. Take either the Tsawwasssen – Duke Point route if you are travelling from south of Vancouver, or the Horseshoe Bay-Departure Bay route if you are coming along the Trans Canada Route from the North Vancouver area.
