From networking to educational and inspiring speaker events, each offers members access to key political and business leaders and opportunities to showcase and promote their business and organization.
Get a jump on business with the Chamber’s Jump Start Breakfast Series
Campbell River Chamber is pleased to announce a great new series of Member events for 2012. The Jump Start Breakfast Series is designed to be a cost-effective and time efficient way for you to network and gain valuable business insights. Jump Start Breakfast events will run from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. kicking off with a contintental breakfast and networking time as well as plenty of coffee and tea! Each event will also feature a 20 minute presentation on a timely business topic and the opportunity for questions and answers. The Chamber of Commerce Enterprise Centre Boardroom will provide the perfect setting for these exclusive events. Seating is limited providing quality networking opportunities and interaction with the speaker.
Member Networking Luncheons
Membership networking luncheons are meant to provide an opportunity for members to hear valuable information on topics of interest to Chamber members. Meetings are held at various member venues throughout Campbell River as timely speakers become available .
Chamber's Annual General Meeting
The Chamber's AGM is held in April as an informal breakfast meeting. The Chamber's new Board is elected and sworn in, annual financial statements are presented, and any amendments to the Chamber's Constitution and By-laws are voted on.
Educational Events
Gain real world experience from leaders in their field on topics ranging from marketing for small business to taxation. These events take place through the Chamber's Lunch & Learn series hosted during the lunch hour at the Chamber offices in the Enterprise Centre.
Complimentary refreshments are served. Members are encouraged to bring their lunch. The events are typically from noon till 1pm and are free for members.
Business Awards of Distinction
The Campbell River Chamber's "Business Awards of Distinction" is the Chamber's most celebrated event of the year. The Business Awards recognizes and celebrates the entrepreneurs and business leaders who create a successful business community and thriving business environment.
Award recipients are nominated and juried through a process that involves public nominations. The event is typically held in early fall and boasts an evening of entertainment, prestige and celebration based on the theme success beyond the lemonade stand.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for each of the award categories as well as the event.

Business Expo
The Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Expo provides a great opportunity for Chamber Members to showcase their products and services and with free admission, an excellent opportunity for the public and entrepreneurs alike. This is the only business expo in Campbell River.
The Expo is held at the Community Centre in October and includes business workshops, door prizes and great networking opportunities.
