The Campbell River Chamber of Commerce launches their new website enhancing member benefits & value to Connect Grow Prosper
February 4, 2009
The Campbell River Chamber launches their new Brand - Connect Grow Prosper with a greatly enhanced website designed and built from the ground-up, to meet the growing needs of Chamber members and the community.
The new site goes live Thursday, February 5th at www.campbellriverchamber.ca, conceived to bring even greater value and relevance to being a Chamber member.
Extensive business resources from start-up to succession planning are available on the site and highlighted new features include expanded membership profiles, surveys and on line polls, easy access to cost-saving benefits, events, networking opportunities and news.
"Our members know investment in the Chamber is a smart investment in their business. It allows them to save money, access cost-saving benefits like health care and insurance designed specifically for small business and do and achieve more, while being connected to important business issues and solutions through their membership", says Executive Director, Colleen Evans.
"Campbell River businesses want to be connected with an organization that is looking out for their best interests and one that values the extensive contribution that they make to our community, they find that in their Chamber membership." further adds Evans.
Participation by members is key, and being involved as a member helps make the difference. "I have gained valuable insight into the complexities of Provincial taxation due to the excellent presentation sponsored by the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce. I found a wealth of information available to the small businessman I previously did not know existed. The opportunity to sit down in an informal setting with, in this case, representatives of Small Business and Revenue is priceless." commented Chamber member Bill Harris, General Manager, Lubex Fast Oil Change.
Today, as community issues become business issues, the Chamber is evolving in our role as the voice of business. And as an advocate for our broad and diverse membership, we provide unique opportunities for individuals and businesses, regardless of size or industry to prosper and connect to create a climate of growth and success for themselves, their companies and our community.
Founded in 1931, the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce is the community's leading advocate and champion for business. Its primary objective is to create a climate of growth and success in our community. The Campbell River Chamber provides leadership and business building opportunities that focus on the critical priorities of its members.
