Join us for a round of SPEED MIXING and creating all new connections!

 

Mix at will for the first 15 minutes and then — SPEED MIXING — you will have 2 minutes with every person in attendance to tell them all about yourself and you will learn all about them!

Free Coffee, Tea, or non-alcoholic beverage and a Cash Bar for those who would prefer something a little stronger.

Practical Social Media Skills Training

Please note: this is not an introduction to social media. Registrants must have managed a Facebook or Instagram page for a business or non-profit organization for a minimum of one month & be able to bring their own laptop to access their social media accounts that they manage.

  • An understanding of how to manage photography & video assets
  • The ability to use basic evaluative metrics to learn what has worked well & to further inform how to craft better content.

Presenter: Suzanne Jolly, M. Ed from Jolly Good Multimedia. Suzanne currently teaches social media marketing at UVic, and she has worked for the last two decades in post-secondary and as a communications consultant for small businesses and non-profits. She has helped small business owners and nonprofits cultivate digital content even before Facebook existed! She also hates boring workshops: be prepared to participate & work on your content in this training.
