What is a Chamber of Commerce?
The Campbell River Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization comprised of  members who represent businesses and professional organizations.  The Chamber works  collectively with our members to ensure a healthy local economy and a positive business friendly environment. By being united, we are a voice that is heard and recognized in addressing the business issues and concerns of our members and effective in shaping public policy.

How is the Chamber governed and managed?
The membership elect a Board of Directors to govern the Chamber.

The Board employs staff who is responsible for the operations of the Chamber. A significant amount of Chamber governance and operations development takes place in volunteer task forces and through committees.

Who finances the Chamber of Commerce?

Our Chamber receives no government funding and relies solely on membership dues and other non-dues revenue streams to support its activities. This independence from government funding frees the Chamber to be a strong, independent advocate on behalf of our members.

Where are we located?

We are located at 900 Alder Street in the Enterprise Centre right across the parking lot from City Hall.

What are the hours of operation for the Chamber?

Our hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We are closed on statutory holidays and for a week between December and January.
