Volunteers are vital to the success of the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce. With over 25 events annually, standing committees, special task forces, and an active member program, the need for dedicated individuals is high.

At the Chamber, we make all attempts to match the "right person to the right job" in order to make your volunteer experience an enjoyable and interesting one. In addition, we offer a wide range of opportunities with varying time commitments to accommodate the needs of our membership and their busy schedules.

  Purpose: Executive Committee sits as an advisory to the Board of Directors.
  
  
• Finance & Budget Committee

  Purpose: To routinely review and examine the financial affairs of the Chamber and to prepare and present to the Board, at the beginning of each fiscal year, a budget of estimates of expenditures and revenue for the ensuing year.

  Purpose: to prepare a list of nominees, from the membership at large, for the office of Director to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors.
  
  
• Advocacy Committee

  Purpose:to advocate for changes to attitudes, policies, positions, practices or programs in society regarding matters that impact the Campbell River business community.

• Business Awards of Distinction Committee

  Purpose: To recognize excellence by individuals and businesses; to enhance awareness of the Chamber of Commerce within the community and to provide a celebratory social event. This committee meets monthly to plan the Awards that take place in late spring.
  
  
• 80^th Anniversary Steering Committee
