As an active advocate, the Campbell River Chamber strives to ensure that the 'Voice of Business' represents the interests of the business community and our members and gives current issues due concern.
On an annual basis, the Chamber Board identify the key goals and strategic directions that the Chamber will undertake in support of our members and further demonstrate our value and relevance to being a member of the Campbell River Chamber.
Through advocacy, benefits and services provided, the Chamber is a partner with our members and leverages our resources and talents to crate of climate of growth and success in the community.
CHAMBER STRATEGIC PRIORITIES:
. Promoting a business enabling and business friendly climate
. Advocating for a healthy and vibrant community and a business climate that fosters growth and success
. Supporting the advancement of sustainable business and development policies
. Providing collaborative leadership, business advocacy and member-driven services
. Serving as a catalyst for new initiatives, ideas and action.
2009 CAMPBELL RIVER CHAMBER BOARD GOALS
1. To ensure a more committed and involved membership.
2. To diversify revenue streams
3. To ensure communication tools are relevant to all stakeholders / interested parties.
4. To enhance policy development and advocacy at the local and provincial levels.
5. To review and update Board Governance Policies
6. To enhance and continue to promote a positive public image of the Chamber.
